AVP (Income Accountant) – 10+ Years – Mumbai

We are looking for a highly skilled AVP – Income Accountant to manage revenue accounting, financial reporting, client invoicing, month-end close, and control processes while driving automation and process excellence. Responsibilities –

• Manage accurate accounting and reporting of trading income, including management fees, performance fees, trail commissions, and rebates.

• Prepare revenue reports and ensure timely client invoicing, cash collection, and fund recharge processes.

• Support monthly, quarterly, and half-yearly financial close activities along with variance analysis and reporting.

• Maintain a robust control environment and ensure compliance with internal governance and financial controls.

• Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts, including intercompany balances and related reconciliations.

• Coordinate and support external audit requirements for revenue reporting and accounting processes.

• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and operational efficiency across the Revenue Management function.

• Collaborate with Front Office, Reporting Teams, Pricing, Change Management, and external service providers to ensure seamless operations.

• Mentor and develop team members while contributing to a high-performance culture.

• Analyze financial data and provide business support for revenue-related decision-making.

Requirements –

• CA qualified or MBA Finance with 10+ years of relevant experience in Revenue Accounting, Financial Reporting, Income Reporting, or Asset Management Finance.

• Strong experience in revenue accounting, client invoicing, financial reporting, month-end close, and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Good understanding of financial controls, regulatory reporting, and audit support processes.

• Experience working within Asset Management, Investment Management, Financial Services, Banking, or Global Capability Centers (GCCs) will be preferred.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and commercial acumen with the ability to simplify complex financial issues.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to interact with senior leadership.

• Passion for automation, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
