Accounts Assistant - Sales & PL - Bournemouth - £28,000

Accounts Assistant (Sales & Purchase Ledger) required to join a busy finance team during a peak trading period, the role is offered a 3 month basis, with the possibility to extend.

This varied role will focus primarily on Sales Ledger management, while also providing support across the Purchase Ledger function.

Key Responsibilities Sales Ledger Process refunds and reconcile customer payments across multiple platforms.

Maintain accurate VAT, debtor and control account records.

Resolve customer and internal queries, debt collection issues and account discrepancies.

Complete month-end reconciliations and sales ledger housekeeping.

Purchase Ledger Support Process supplier invoices and reconcile supplier statements.

Investigate and resolve supplier queries and discrepancies.

Support nominal code analysis and wider finance administration.

Assist with ad hoc finance duties as required.

You must have relevant experience using ERP systems and modern finance software.
