Every successful campaign relies on people who can organize the details, coordinate activities, and help turn creative ideas into action. We’re looking for a Marketing Assistant in Syracuse, NY to support campaign planning, prepare marketing materials, and help keep projects moving forward.
This role is suited to someone who enjoys variety, communicates confidently, and has an interest in marketing, branding, and customer engagement. You’ll work alongside the marketing team to coordinate initiatives, research opportunities, and ensure campaign activities are organized and delivered on schedule.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with planning and coordinating marketing campaigns and promotional activities.Prepare marketing materials, presentations, reports, and campaign documents.Support content creation for digital and offline marketing channels.Research target audiences, competitor activity, and relevant market trends.Help maintain marketing calendars, project timelines, and campaign schedules.Coordinate information between marketing teams and other departments.Assist with social media updates, email campaigns, and website content where required.Support promotional events, brand awareness activities, and campaign launches.Maintain accurate marketing records, contact lists, and project documentation.Monitor campaign activity and help prepare progress reports.Review promotional materials for accuracy and consistency with brand guidelines.Gather customer feedback and share useful insights with the marketing team.Assist with meetings, brainstorming sessions, and general marketing administration.Follow up on outstanding tasks to help ensure deadlines are met.
What We’re Looking ForWe’re looking for someone who is organized, proactive, and interested in developing practical marketing skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Good organizational skills and attention to detail.An interest in marketing, advertising, branding, or communications.Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, presentations, and standard office software.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.A positive attitude and willingness to learn.Confidence working with different people and contributing to team projects.Ability to follow established processes while taking initiative when appropriate.Previous experience in marketing, administration, retail, sales, hospitality, customer service, or events is beneficial.Familiarity with social media platforms or digital marketing tools is an advantage.
Training and guidance will be provided on internal systems, campaign procedures, and day-to-day responsibilities.
