Role Summary

We're looking for a Product Designer who will start immediately on a new project, owning the full design lifecycle from research to prototype. The core of this role is structured, defined research that directly informs UI/UX decisions — you'll investigate real business workflows and user behaviour first, then translate those findings into scoped, well-architected, high-fidelity prototypes. This isn't a “design from a spec” role, you define what to build before you decide how it looks

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct structured research (stakeholder interviews, user interviews, workflow mapping, competitive/market analysis) as the foundation for every design decision - not an afterthought
• Translate research findings into clearly defined scope, user flows, and information architecture before any visual design begins
• Design role-based, data-dense interfaces for enterprise web applications (dashboards, approval workflows, multi-step forms, permission-based views)
• Design simple, intuitive mobile experiences for a broad, non-technical consumer user base
• Design natively for both iOS and Android with platform-appropriate patterns
• Build and maintain a scalable design system in Figma usable across web and mobile
• older validation and developer handoff
• Validate designs through usability testing and iterate based on real user feedback - research doesn't stop after the first pass
• Collaborate closely with developers on feasibility, specs, and handoff

Daily Responsibilities

• Run or synthesize research activities (interviews, workflow shadowing, notes review) relevant to the module/feature in progress
• Translate research insights into flows, wireframes, or prototype iterations
• Review and refine ongoing design work against user feedback and business requirement
• Participate in stakeholder syncs and design critiques to validate research-backed decision
• Maintain and extend the design system as new modules/features are added
• Prepare and update Figma prototypes for testing or demo sessions

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience as a Product Designer / UX Designer, with demonstrated research-to-prototype ownership (not just visual execution)
• Strong, provable user/stakeholder research skills - interviews, workflow mapping, synthesis, and translating findings into design decisions
• Expert-level Figma: components, variants, auto-layout, design systems, interactive prototyping
• Strong information architecture skills for complex, data-heavy systems
• Portfolio demonstrating both enterprise/B2B web app design and consumer mobile app design
• Solid understanding of iOS Human Interface Guidelines and Android Material Design
• Ability to simplify complex business logic into usable, clear interfaces
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and defining scope independently from day one, this project starts immediately with no pre-builtspec

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PropTech, fintech, CRM, or ERP platforms
• Experience designing multi-role, multi-app ecosystems (e.g., one system with separate apps for different user types
• Basic understanding of frontend/mobile development constraints (Flutter, React, React Native) to design realistic, buildable interfaces
• Experience building or maintaining a cross-platform design systems
• Formal training or certification in UX research method

Technical Stack /Tools

• Figma (primary) — components, variants, auto-layout, prototyping
• FigJam — for research synthesis and workshops
• Basic familiarity with developer handoff tools (Zeplin, Storybook, or similar)

Nice to have: basic HTML/CSS reading ability for feasibility checks
