Role Description The Field Services Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka,Telangana Gujarat and Maharashtra responsible for supporting customers in the installation, operation, and maintenance of material handling and aerial work platform equipment. Day-to-day tasks include performing on-site diagnostics, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and carrying out corrective and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment safety and reliability. The role involves coordinating technical support activities, preparing service reports, and communicating clearly with customers about equipment status, required repairs, and safe operating procedures. The Field Services Engineer will also collaborate with internal teams to schedule service visits, manage spare parts usage, and contribute to continuous improvement of field service processes. A strong focus on safety, quality, and timely resolution of customer issues is essential.
Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in Field Service operations, including on-site equipment installation, inspection, and repair.
  • Strong Troubleshooting abilities for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, with a methodical approach to fault finding.
  • Hands-on Technical Support skills, including interpreting technical manuals, using diagnostic tools, and documenting service activities.
  • Proficiency in Preventive Maintenance planning and execution to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
  • Effective Customer Service capabilities, with clear communication, professionalism, and a focus on safety and client satisfaction.
  • Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering discipline.
  • Knowledge of material handling equipment or aerial work platforms is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work on-site in industrial environments, with readiness for occasional extended hours or weekend support as required.
  • Basic computer skills for service reporting and use of maintenance management systems.
  • Understanding of occupational health and safety standards and safe work practices.
