Responsibilities:
* The pharmacy intern, under the supervision of a preceptor pharmacist, will assist in the technical and clinical aspects of preparing medications for dispensing and assist in pharmacy operations.
* Has the ability to participate as a member of a team with reliability and punctuality.
* Does related work, as required.
* Maintains competency in the compounding of sterile IV medications.
Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
* High School graduate or GED.
* Enrolled in an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy.
* Active Registered Pharmacy Intern in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy, if required by state of employment.
* IV Certification or training, based on state requirements.
* BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
