e We are seeking an experienced CAM/CNC expert with deep knowledge of CNC programming, machining strategies, and manufacturing processes. In this role, you will apply your expertise to develop, review, and optimize machining strategies, toolpaths, and CNC programs, ensuring technically accurate and production-ready solutions
.
What You'll
Do Create and review data grounded in real CAM and CNC milling practice, toolpaths, process plans, tooling and fixturing decision
s. Evaluate AI-generated machining solutions (toolpaths, strategies, DFM feedback) and flag failure modes: collisions, gouges, poor engagement, unrealistic cycle time
s. Break complex machining and process-planning tasks into structured workflows the model can learn from and be measured agains

ies Develop and assess CNC milling programs from 2.5-axis through5-axis simultaneous, judging correctne ss a nd efficiency of toolpat
hs. Define and review machining strategies, tool selection, fixturing, and cutting parameters against quality, cost, and cycle-time targe
ts. Perform virtual toolpath verification and collision detection; assess post-processing to specific machine controlle
rs. Give sharp DFM feedback and predict whether a strategy survives contact with real producti
on.

Have B. E./B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering (or related) from a Tier 1/Tier 2 instit
ute.5+ years of hands-on CAM programming with deep CNC milling mastery, across materials (aluminium, steel , titanium, composites), machine types (3-axis through5-axis machining centres), and both prototype and volume environme
nts. Command of a leading CAM package (Mastercam, NX CAM, Fusion360, Power Mill, or Espr
it). Strong grasp of machining processes, cutting tools, GD&T, and metrology; fluent reading of complex drawi
ngs.
Good to
Have5-axis simultaneous machining and post-processor develop
ment. Mill-turn / Swiss-type expo
sure. Python or tool-specific scripting/macros; CMM program
ming.

Choose one of the three CAM projects and continue machining from the provided STEP file by setting up the stock, work coordinate system, tools, and CNC toolpaths based on the DXF, DWG, and PDF references.
