Role Description The Interior Designer will work on-site in Mumbai in a full-time capacity, collaborating with clients and project teams to develop interior concepts and detailed design solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating space plans, mood boards, and layouts; selecting materials, finishes, and FF& E that align with project requirements and budgets; and preparing presentations to communicate design ideas. The designer will produce construction drawings and coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure accurate implementation of the design on-site. Additional tasks include conducting site visits, monitoring progress, resolving design-related issues, and maintaining documentation and project timelines. The role also involves staying updated on design trends and local regulations to deliver high-quality, compliant interiors.
Qualifications
min. 2 years experience candidate from mumbai will be given preference. Strong skills in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to translate client needs into practical and visually appealing layouts. Understanding of Architecture and Construction Drawings, including the ability to prepare or interpret technical plans and coordinate with site teams. Experience with FF& E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection, specification, and sourcing, ensuring quality, durability, and design consistency. Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., Auto CAD, Sketch Up, Revit, or similar) and basic knowledge of MS Office for documentation and communication. Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, with prior studio or on-site experience in residential or commercial interiors preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members and manage multiple projects. Attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work on-site in Mumbai on a full-time schedule.Details
