About Glide Cybercrime losses reported to the FBI reached a record $20.9 billion in 2025, up 26% year over year. AI-related complaints accounted for $893 million of that, the first time the FBI tracked AI separately. SMS codes, passwords and security questions all rely on something a person can be tricked into giving away. Glide replaces them with the cryptographic key already in every SIM, verified through the mobile carrier. The result is authentication and identity that can't be phished. We are live across the major US carriers and in production pilots with Tier-1 fintech and payments companies. Our platform spans SIM-based authentication (MagicalAuth), phishing-resistant passkeys (SuperPasskey) and reusable verified identity (GlideID Wallet). The role As our Head of Forward Deployed Engineering, you'll own the technical side of Glide's customer relationships across US financial services: banks, payments, crypto, lending, wealth management and brokerage. You report directly to our founder and work side by side with our Founding Account Executive. They own the commercial deal; you own the technical win and the path to production. The product is live, so your job is to take customers from the first architecture call to production traffic and build the forward deployed team that follows. What we expect Month one: You're in customer conversations from your first week, running technical discovery on live deals and owning your first POC within the month. By day 90: Our largest customers see you as their technical partner, your first POC is on a clear path to production, and you've built a deployment playbook that makes each integration faster than the last. What you'll do Own the technical side of every deal alongside our Account Executive, from first meeting to signature: discovery, demos, architecture and security reviews Build POCs and take them to production inside customers' identity, fraud and payments stacks, then own delivery for our largest customers through go-live and beyond Spend as much time with customers as possible.
