Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:45pm
Pay: Up to £18.00 per hour (negotiable for the right candidate)
Overtime: Paid at time and a half
------------------------------------------------------------- About the Role: We are recruiting for an experienced Fitter / Joiner to join a well-established and growing business.
This is a varied, hands-on role working across both commercial and residential properties, carrying out installations, replacements and repairs.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a keen eye for detail and is confident attending sites independently to carry out surveys and installations.
--------------------------------------------------------------- Key Responsibilities: Install and replace windows, doors, gates, stairs and frames.
Travel to sites across the UK.
Carry out glass and frame replacements.
Fit, repair and replace fire doors where required.
Attend customer sites independently to carry out surveys, measurements and assessments.
Work across both commercial and residential properties.
Ensure all installations are completed to a high standard.
Identify issues on site and provide practical solutions.
Maintain a professional and friendly approach when dealing with customers.
-------------------------------------------------------------------- What We're Looking For: Previous experience fitting windows, doors, gates or stairs.
Experience replacing glass and/or frames.
Fire door installation experience is highly desirable.
Confident carrying out site surveys and taking accurate measurements independently.
Good understanding of fitting techniques and installation standards.
Full UK driving licence is essential.
A focused, motivated and reliable individual.
Friendly, approachable and comfortable dealing directly with customers.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
