Job Description
The role involves overseeing the installation of IBM and Independent Software Vendor (ISV) software on the firm's z-platform computing infrastructure. Additionally, the position requires the installation of client components to support mainframe software, including software for Windows and Linux environments.
Skills Required:
- Strong SMP/E skills.
- zOSMF and rest-api experience. (software management component)
- GIT and USS/OMVS skills
- Experience with z/OS and ISV software installations
- Excellent Testing skills (design tests to validate software functionality, robustness, performance)
- Ansibles and Rexx scripting
- Basic Assembler skills for usermods maintenance
- Basic knowledge and experience with IBM software and mainframe ISV software customization.
Attributes:
- Outstanding researcher/investigator with outside the box line of thought
- At least 5 years of relevant experience
