We are looking for a Design Engineer with strong 3D CAD modelling skills (Efficient with Solidworks) and an interest in reverse engineering, product development, and precision manufacturing.

The role involves converting physical components into accurate 3D models, assemblies, engineering drawings, and production-ready designs using modern CAD tools and 3D scanning technology. You will work closely with the manufacturing, tooling, and R&D teams to develop products optimized for manufacturability, assembly, performance, and cost.

• Develop detailed 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using CAD software.
• Perform reverse engineering of physical components using 3D scanners and precision measuring equipment.
• Convert scanned data into accurate CAD models suitable for manufacturing.
• Create complete engineering drawings with GD&T, tolerances, BOMs, and manufacturing specifications.
• Design products considering manufacturability, assembly feasibility, and cost optimization.
• Validate assemblies, clearances, fits, tolerances, and functional interfaces before production.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, machining, tooling, and quality teams during product development.
• Modify and improve existing designs based on testing, manufacturing feedback, and customer requirements.
• Maintain proper engineering documentation, revision control, and design records.
• Continuously learn and adopt new design tools, software, and engineering technologies.

• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (Prefered) or similar 3D CAD software.
• Excellent understanding of mechanical design fundamentals.
• Ability to prepare manufacturing drawings with GD&T.
• Experience or willingness to work with 3D scanning and reverse engineering.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes including CNC machining, fabrication, casting, moulding, and assembly.
• Ability to analyse assemblies and optimize tolerances.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

• B.E./B.Tech./M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• 3-7 years of experience in product design or mechanical engineering.
• Fresh graduates with exceptional CAD skills and a strong learning attitude are also encouraged to apply.
