Responsibilities:Under the supervision of a Chemist and / or Manager, the Technician will be expected to perform the following functions with a high level of initiative and independence:Preparation of adhesives and adhesive additives for productionPerform Quality Control Testing along with testing of adhesivesEvaluate, collect and record dataParticipates in organizing and performing experiments using established procedures while summarizing and reporting results in a electronic laboratory notebookData/information including charts and tables for communication of project results / details; calibration and equipment maintenanceTests performance characteristics of substrates using established procedures.Perform Lab maintenance
Key Must Have’s:Associate or Bachelor's degree in a technical field3 years (or more) of demonstrated laboratory experience xzbcwsv Ability to understand and follow experimental protocols for preservation of dataComputer literate in Microsoft Office products;Comfortable and able to work with hazard chemicals while following safe laboratory practices / protocolsThe ability to stand while working in the laboratory throughout most of the day.
