To strengthen Indonesia's animal quarantine risk management system, the part-time Animal Health Risk Management Expert will provide technical support and develop training modules while working remotely for a duration of six months. Key responsibilities Review existing animal quarantine risk management and surveillance materials to identify capacity gaps Develop training materials covering risk forecasting, epidemiological trends, and disease surveillance Prepare practical case studies and documentation of the training module's development process and recommendations Required qualifications Advanced university degree in animal health and/or veterinary sciences Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in animal health, veterinary epidemiology, or animal quarantine risk management Working knowledge of English and Bahasa Indonesia National of Indonesia or resident with a valid work permit Demonstrated experience in developing training modules or capacity-development materials
