PCB Design Engineer

Job Title: PCB Design Engineer Experience: 6-15 Years Work Mode: Onsite Location: Pune Notice Period: Immediate joiners preferred Job Overview We are looking for a skilled PCB Design Engineer with strong experience in high-power and high-frequency PCB design to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Signal Integrity (SI), Power Integrity (PI), Noise, EMI/EMC, Creepage & Clearance, and PCB design practices for developing reliable, safe, and compliant electronic products. Key Responsibilities Design and develop high-power and high-frequency PCB layouts based on circuit and system requirements. Analyze and resolve noise, signal integrity, EMI, and EMC challenges in PCB designs. Apply appropriate grounding, shielding, routing, filtering, and decoupling techniques to minimize noise and electromagnetic interference. Ensure appropriate creepage and clearance distances in accordance with applicable safety and design standards. Review PCB layouts for power integrity, signal integrity, thermal performance, and manufacturability. Work closely with Hardware, Firmware, Mechanical, and Manufacturing teams to identify and resolve PCB design issues. Perform design reviews, schematic-to-layout validation, and PCB layout optimization. Support EMI/EMC testing and debugging, identify root causes, and implement corrective design changes. Ensure PCB designs comply with relevant electrical safety, EMC, reliability, and industry standards. Collaborate with PCB fabrication and assembly vendors to resolve manufacturing and design-related issues. Maintain accurate PCB design documentation, design guidelines, and revision records. Troubleshoot PCB-related issues during prototype development, testing, and production. Required Skills & Expertise Strong experience in High-Power PCB Design Strong experience in High-Frequency PCB Design Good understanding of Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) Strong understanding of Noise, EMI and EMC principles Practical knowledge of EMI/EMC mitigation techniques Good understanding of Creepage and Clearance requirements Experience with grounding, shielding, filtering, routing, and decoupling techniques Knowledge of PCB thermal management and manufacturability Experience in PCB layout review, debugging, and optimization Understanding of relevant electrical safety, EMC, and PCB design standards Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams
