Key Responsibilities: Design Ownership: Translate high-end design sketches into flawless 2D/3D CAD packages and detailed Bills of Materials (BOM). Master the Craft: Engineer advanced wooden frames, luxury suspension systems, foam density profiles, and meticulous upholstery tailoring. Bridge to Production: Oversee prototyping on the factory floor, troubleshooting structural and ergonomic challenges before mass manufacturing. What We’re Looking For: 5 years of experience in technical furniture design, specifically within luxury upholstery or high-end manufacturing. Advanced mastery of CAD/3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Rhino). Deep structural knowledge of materials, joinery, fabric allowances, and production tolerances.
