About the RoleOne of my key clients this year is a growing pharmaceutical company with an exciting pipeline and ambitious plans for continued growth, currently looking to add a Financial Analyst to their team to support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis that guides operational and strategic decisions across the business. You will build financial models, analyze key performance indicators, spot trends, and turn complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for leadership.

This role suits an analytical thinker who enjoys digging into the numbers, improving processes, and partnering with leaders across manufacturing, commercial, quality, and supply chain. You will use both traditional financial analysis tools and emerging AI technology to make analysis faster and more meaningful.
Primary ResponsibilitiesSupport budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning aligned with the company's financial and strategic objectivesProvide financial analysis, recommendations, and consultative support to business leadersBuild and maintain financial models to evaluate performance, trends, product profitability, and growth opportunitiesPerform cost and efficiency analyses across manufacturing, operations, and support functions, clearly documenting assumptions, key drivers, and recommendationsAnalyze financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities, including COGS, margins, and inventoryPrepare reports and presentations that turn financial data into clear information for decision-makingParticipate in benchmarking, trend analysis, and KPI reportingIdentify and support process improvements that strengthen financial reporting, analysis, and overall efficiencyPartner with cross-functional teams to gather information, understand business needs, and move projects to completionUse available technology and analytical tools to improve the speed and quality of analysisPerform other duties as assigned
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field required2-3 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, or a related area requiredExperience with financial xzbcwsv modeling, trend analysis, benchmarking, and reporting preferredPharmaceutical, life sciences, manufacturing, or healthcare experience preferredCPA helpful but not requiredIntermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills required, with working knowledge of PowerPoint, Outlook, and WordExperience with ERP and computerized accounting systemsExperience using AI tools to support financial or data analysis preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detailAbility to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive projects to completionStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and with senior leaders
