Job Description: Sales Engineer (Hydro & Turbines)

Maharashtra & Madhya Pradesh Region: (Head Office - Mumbai based)
Job Purpos
e To drive business growth by identifying technical requirements at hydropower plants and providing engineering-led solutions for turbine maintenance, refurbishment, and component replacement. You will act as the technical bridge between the site engineers and our design/manufacturing teams
.
Key Responsibiliti
es Technical Sales & Application: Proactively promote our specialized hydro portfolio, including turbine components and system conversions (e.g., oil-to-water lubricatio
n)Field Engagement: Conduct site visits to hydro power plants for technical assessments and commercial negotiation
s. Solution Design: Collaborate with the back office to prepare detailed technical-commercial offers and tender documentation based on site-specific turbine requirement
s. Technical Presentations: Deliver high-level technical demonstrations to plant managers and SEs, showcasing how our engineering solutions improve turbine efficiency and longevit
y. Relationship Management: Develop long-term partnerships with hydro end-users (State Gencos, IPPs, and Central Utilities) to generate inquiries for parts and service
s. Market Intelligence: Maintain accurate CRM records of turbine health at various sites and track upcoming maintenance schedules (A/B/C/D inspections
).
Candidate Requireme
nts Education: Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Hydro-Mechanical Engineeri
ng. Experience: 3–7 years in Hydro Turbine maintenance, installation, or technical sal
es. Skil
ls: Deep understanding of turbine types (Francis, Kaplan, Pelton) and their mechanical componen
ts. Experience with Tender Documentation and ERP systems is highly preferr
ed. Willingness to travel extensively to remote hydro plant locatio
