Our client, a global aviation industry organization, is looking for an accomplished Associate Director Financial & Revenue Services to lead its Finance Shared Services function based in Bengaluru, India.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Strategic Management Manage, coordinate, and own end-to-end business performance across all Financial and Revenue Service teams, ensuring seamless delivery to internal and external business partners. Drive KPI achievement, proactively identifying risks, implementing corrective actions, and conducting root cause analysis (RCA) for any deviations. Enhance collaboration between teams with an aim to harness synergies that create measurable impact on business outcomes across the functions. Effectively manage team budgets, appraisal cycles, headcount planning, and resource allocation across the section. Drive a cost-conscious culture within the team without compromising on quality, safety, or service levels.
Process & Digital Transformation Identify and implement optimization opportunities in the processes. Champion the adoption of AI and digital tools within the functions—including intelligent forecasting, predictive analytics, and workflow automation—in partnership with IT and transformation teams. Lead the identification and piloting of automation opportunities (RPA, AI-assisted decision-making) to reduce manual effort and improve turnaround accuracy. Build team capability in data literacy and digital tools; drive a mindset shift from reactive operations to proactive, insight-driven management. Collaborate with the Digital and Innovation teams to contribute to their broader Digital roadmap, acting as a business sponsor for relevant initiatives within the domain.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement Ensure high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction. Conduct regular customer/stakeholder connect to take feedback to identify and meet their expectations. Collaborate with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams to uphold service quality and compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
People Leadership & Culture Lead, motivate, coach, and develop a diverse team of 75+ employees and managers across four teams, fostering a high-performance and inclusive culture. Define clear career development pathways for team members; drive structured talent reviews, succession planning, and Individual Development Plans (IDPs). Build a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous feedback—championing psychological safety and employee engagement. Drive cross-functional collaboration across teams and geographies, leveraging intercultural competence to align diverse stakeholders. Represent leadership values in all internal and external engagements; act as a role model for ethical, people-first management.
Qualifications, Education, Experience & Skills
Education Master's degree in Finance or Business Administration, with a Bachelor's degree in Finance (preferred).
