Locum Ready is looking for a Locum General Practitioner to work for a GP practice in Chester Le Street. This role is well-suited to GPs seeking flexible, well-organised sessions within a supportive primary care environment that offers a clear structure for daily clinical work.You will manage a varied caseload, deliver high-quality patient assessments and provide continuity where required. The practice offers strong administrative support, established clinical workflows and a team-focused approach to patient care, ensuring efficient and manageable session delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesRunning routine and urgent GP clinicsManaging acute presentations and complex casesProviding telephone consultations and triage as part of daily workflowReviewing investigations, results and medication queriesPrescribing safely and appropriatelyDocumenting consultations clearly using the clinical systemSupporting the practice with clinical actions and follow-up tasksRequirementsGMC-registered General PractitionerActive inclusion on the NHS Performers ListRecent UK primary care experienceStrong clinical decision-making and communication skillsFamiliarity with EMIS, SystmOne or similar systemsValid indemnity and Enhanced DBSWorking PatternAd-hoc or regular weekly sessionsFull-day or half-day availabilityOngoing bookings with potential for long-term arrangements #J-18808-Ljbffr
