Role Description The Special Education Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida, responsible for supporting learners with diverse disabilities and learning needs. The teacher will plan and deliver individualized and small-group instruction, adapt curriculum and assessments, and create inclusive classroom environments for middle school–aged students and other age groups as needed. Daily responsibilities include developing IEPs or equivalent plans, collaborating with audiologists and other specialists, tracking student progress, and maintaining detailed documentation. The role involves regular communication with families, coordination with general education teachers, and participation in staff meetings and professional development. The teacher will also implement evidence-based strategies to support communication, social-emotional skills, and academic growth in line with Hearing Point’s standards of care.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience working with individuals with disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactive discorder, developmental, and hearing-related needs.
• Demonstrated teaching skills in special education settings, with experience at the middle school level or similar age groups.
• Background in Special Education, including understanding of individualized education planning, accommodations, and inclusive practices.
• Strong communication skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams, including clear documentation and reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education, Education, Psychology, or a related field; specialized training in hearing or communication disorders is an advantage.
• Familiarity with evidence-based instructional strategies, classroom management, and differentiation for diverse learners.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site clinical and school-based environment, with empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity.
• Relevant teaching certifications or licenses, where applicable, and willingness to engage in ongoing professional development.
