Job Title: Network Deployment Engineer Job Location: Seattle, WA (Remote)Job Type: Full-Time
Must Have: Arista Switches ExperienceRole Overview:We are looking for L2-level Network Deployment Engineers to support large-scale LAN refresh projects. The role involves hands-on execution of switch staging, migration from Cisco to Arista environments, and decommissioning of legacy infrastructure, working closely with Project Managers and Network Designers.
Key Responsibilities:Perform switch staging and pre-deployment activitiesExecute LAN refresh implementation (Cisco to Arista switch migrations)Handle decommissioning of Cisco switches, including configuration wipe and asset readinessSupport physical installation, connectivity checks, and validation during implementationWork closely with Project Managers and Network Designers to support execution tasksAssist in troubleshooting basic network and deployment issues during implementationEnsure adherence to project timelines, standards, and operational guidelines
Required Skills & Expertise:Working knowledge of Cisco and Arista switch configurationsBasic understanding of LAN technologies (switching, VLANs, IP addressing)Experience in network deployment, staging, and implementation activitiesFamiliarity with device configuration validation and wipe proceduresAbility to read xzbcwsv and follow design documents and runbooks
Project Environment Requirements:Ability to support work during customer-defined change windows (including after-hours and scheduled maintenance periods)Comfortable working in a structured, process-driven project environmentAbility to handle multiple sites / rollout-based deployment activitiesPreferred Skills:Exposure to Cisco IOS / NX-OS and Arista EOS environmentsExperience in large-scale enterprise rollout or refresh programsUnderstanding of network migration and transformation projects
