Job Description:

Follows CDC isolation guidelines, infection control practices, demonstrates appropriate use of PPE, performs handwashing according to policy, and enforces safety regulations. Supports quality standards and initiatives set by the department. Performs other duties as assigned or directed to ensure smooth clinic operation. Performs other duties as assigned. Relays discharge and follow-up instructions/care to employees using approved after-care instruction tools. Performs diagnostic testing according to OSHA guidelines and hospital policy. Facilitates processing employees from new hire to annual compliance, accurately taking height, weight, blood pressure, vision, and color screening. Documents orders, procedures, and assessments properly and legibly from check-in to check-out in accordance with department policy. Facilitates triage and transport of injured workers to the closest facility. Utilizes the EMR system for record-keeping of employee medical records and performs daily report checks for accurate data entry, scanning, and charges. Performs collection and processing of blood work according to established protocols. Maintains a working knowledge of various immunizations required for healthcare workers in a hospital setting, adhering to policies and procedures. Works under standing orders from the Medical Director to perform various clinical duties.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate by reading, writing legibly, speaking and comprehending English effectively in order to carry out job requirements [Required]
  • Comprehensive knowledge of general nursing theory and practices. [Required]

  • Associate's of Nursing [Required]
  • Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
