Head of Digital Sales

Incumbent should be a digital first enthusiast who would be responsible for developing and executing the overall commercial strategy for the company, driving profitable growth across.

E-commerce, Quick Commerce, Modern Trade, General Trade and emerging channels.

The role owns the sales P&L, builds strategic customer partnerships, and leads a high-performing sales organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end sales strategy, revenue, profitability and market share.

•Lead E-commerce & Quick Commerce business across Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy

Insta mart, Big Basket and other marketplaces.

• Drive Modern Trade, General Trade, Regional Accounts and Institutional Sales growth.

• Lead Joint Business Planning (JBPs), key account management and commercial negotiations.

• Own annual sales planning, forecasting, trade spend optimization and channel profitability.

• Build, mentor and lead a high-performing national sales team.

• Collaborate with Marketing, Performance Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain and Product teams.

• Identify new channels, markets and business opportunities while tracking competitive trends.

Qualifications:

• MBA/Post Graduate

• 5–12 years of progressive FMCG sales experience.

• Someone with a digital first experience

• Strong experience in E-commerce & Quick Commerce is mandatory/preferred, with exposure to

Modern Trade and General Trade is a plus

• Proven P&L ownership and experience leading national sales teams.

Must Haves:

• Tier 1, premium B-School is mandatory
• FMCG Online Sales experience
• E-commerce & Quick Commerce is mandatory
