Job Summary

We are looking for an Electrical Wiring Harness Design Engineer with 0–3 years of experience and hands-on knowledge of CATIA . The candidate will be responsible for supporting the design, development, and modification of electrical wiring harnesses for automotive/engineering applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical wiring harnesses using CATIA.
• Create and modify 2D/3D wiring harness layouts and routing .
• Prepare harness drawings, schematics, and related engineering documentation.
• Understand electrical components, connectors, terminals, wires, clips, and routing requirements.
• Perform harness packaging and ensure proper routing within vehicle/product constraints.
• Support design changes, engineering modifications, and release activities.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing teams.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable customer and engineering standards.
• Review designs and resolve basic design-related issues.

Required Skills

• CATIA – Mandatory
• Knowledge of Electrical Wiring Harness Design
• Basic understanding of automotive electrical systems and components.
• Understanding of 2D/3D CAD modelling and drafting.
• Good knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T basics.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualification

• Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Automobile, or related engineering discipline .
