Job Details Key Responsibilities Strengthen safety programs through employee training, coaching, and consistent follow-through. Manage hazardous and nonhazardous waste storage, organization, shipping, and documentation. Conduct safety inspections, ergonomic assessments, PPE reviews, and incident investigations. Maintain applicable OSHA and environmental compliance, reporting, records, and routine permit activities. Partner with operations, maintenance, and engineering to address equipment and process hazards. Track corrective actions and safety performance, prioritizing improvements with plant leadership. Qualifications Associate's or bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Industrial EHS experience, with five or more years preferred. Hands-on knowledge of waste management, chemical safety, OSHA requirements, and environmental compliance. Demonstrated ability to engage employees and implement practical safety improvements. Experience with training, risk assessments, ergonomics, PPE, and incident investigations. OSHA 30-Hour training required; CSP, ASP, CHMM, or HAZWOPER credentials preferred.
