Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & General Management

• Provide overall leadership and direction for the entity.
• Develop and execute the local business strategy in alignment with corporate objectives.
• Assume full responsibility for operational performance, profitability, and sustainable growth.
• Act as the primary representative of the company in India.
• Establish a strong local management culture aligned with the company's values and leadership principles.
• Serve as the key interface between the India organization and the Group Headquarters.

Commercial Leadership & Business Development

• Lead the overall commercial development of the India business.
• Drive revenue growth, profitability, and market share.
• Develop and execute local sales and business development strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
• Strengthening and expanding relationships with key customers, strategic accounts, distributors, and business partners.
• Identify new business opportunities, market segments, and growth initiatives.
• Ensure excellent customer satisfaction and long-term customer retention.
• Help lead efforts to launch new programs and grow the organization.
• Ensure that an annual budget is created and followed.
• Ability to lead the career development of self and others by attracting and retaining high performing talent.
• Communicate and direct organization's conversations around priorities, goals, and organization improvement areas.

Manufacturing & Operations

• Lead the establishment and further development of manufacturing operations.
• Ensure operational excellence in quality, delivery performance, productivity, safety, and cost efficiency.
• Introduce and monitor key operational performance indicators (KPIs).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all operational areas.
• Ensure alignment between customer requirements, sales commitments, and manufacturing capabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10-15 years of leadership experience in industrial and/or manufacturing environments.
• Several years of experience in senior management positions such as General Manager, Business Unit Leader, Sales Director, Commercial Director, Plant Manager, Operations Director, or comparable leadership roles.
• Proven success in both commercial leadership and operational management.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in sales leadership, business development, customer management, and P&L responsibility.
• Solid manufacturing and operational expertise with a strong understanding of production processes and operational excellence.
