India Head – U. S. Dental RCM & Billing Operations Location: Mohali/Chandigarh, Punjab
Position: Full-time | Senior Leadership
Compensation: ₹15–20 LPA + Performance Incentives
Reports to: U. S. Ownership/Executive Leadership
About the Opportunity We are a U. S.-based dental organization operating 10 practices in Northern California , including general dentistry, implant dentistry and full-mouth rehabilitation centers.
We are establishing a dedicated Dental RCM and Business Support operation in Mohali/Chandigarh. We are seeking an experienced, hands-on leader to build and manage the India team and take ownership of the complete revenue cycle for all 10 practices.
This position requires direct U. S. dental RCM experience. Candidates with only medical billing experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end dental RCM, from insurance verification through final payment reconciliation
Audit and improve existing billing and collection workflows
Initially recruit and manage approximately two experienced dental RCM professionals
Build and scale the India team as additional responsibilities transition from the U. S.
Develop SOPs, training programs, productivity standards and quality-control systems
Provide weekly and monthly performance dashboards to U. S. leadership
Revenue-Cycle Responsibilities Dental insurance eligibility and complete benefit verification
PPO plan interpretation, deductibles, annual maximums and remaining benefits
Frequency and age limitations, waiting periods, missing-tooth and replacement clauses
Alternate benefits, downgrades and coordination of benefits
Primary and secondary insurance
Implant, major-service and orthodontic coverage
Pre-authorizations and predeterminations
CDT coding, narratives, radiographs and claim attachments
Electronic claim submission and claim scrubbing
Rejections, denials, corrected claims and appeals
Insurance follow-up and aging management
EOB and ERA processing
Insurance and patient payment posting
Contractual adjustments and PPO write-offs
Credit balances, unapplied payments and deposit reconciliation
Identification of payer underpayments, missed billing and revenue leakage
Required Experience 7–12+ years of U. S. dental or healthcare RCM experience
Strong, direct experience in U. S. dental billing and RCM
Advanced knowledge of CDT coding, PPO plans, EOBs, ERA, COB, dental AR and insurance aging
Experience managing, recruiting and training RCM teams
Ability to create SOPs, KPIs and quality-control processes
Strong spoken and written English
Experience communicating directly with U. S. clients or leadership
Understanding of HIPAA and healthcare data-security requirements
Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
Experience working with Curve Dental is strongly preferred
Performance Metrics The India Head will track and improve:
Insurance-verification accuracy
Clean-claim rate
Claim-submission turnaround time
Denial rate and collection rate
AR over 30, 60 and 90 days
Days in AR
Unworked claims
Payment-posting turnaround
Payer underpayments and revenue leakage
Employee productivity and quality scores
Compensation ₹15–20 LPA plus performance-based incentives
Compensation will depend on dental RCM expertise, leadership experience and demonstrated results. Incentives may be tied to improvements in collections, AR, denials, verification accuracy and overall revenue-cycle performance.
