Job Opening - Spa Therapist (Female) FOR CRUISE SHIP

Position: Spa Therapist (Female)

Department: Spa & Wellness

Reports To: Spa Manager

Eligibility: Female candidates with a valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate and relevant spa therapy experience are encouraged to apply.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a professional, customer-focused Female Spa Therapist to deliver exceptional spa and wellness services while ensuring the highest standards of guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate should have excellent massage and beauty therapy skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for providing outstanding guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform professional massage therapies, including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Aromatherapy, Hot Stone, and other approved treatments.
• Provide facials, body scrubs, body wraps, and other spa services as per company standards.
• Conduct guest consultations and recommend suitable treatments based on individual needs.
• Promote spa treatments, wellness packages, and retail products to achieve sales targets.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation of treatment rooms, equipment, and work areas.
• Ensure all treatments are performed safely and in accordance with company procedures.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and professionally handle guest concerns.
• Maintain treatment records and guest consultation forms.
• Assist in spa promotions and wellness events.
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Requirements:

• Female candidates only.
• Diploma or Certification in Spa Therapy, Massage Therapy, Beauty Therapy, Cosmetology, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Spa Therapist in a luxury hotel, resort, wellness centre, or cruise line.
• Valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of massage therapies, facials, body treatments, and skincare.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Good command of spoken English.
