Episcope offers a unique laboratory environment that encourages learning, ongoing development, and close collaboration with some of the top minds in business, food, beverage and design.We are looking for a Staff Accountant who will support the accounting operations of a multi-unit hospitality restaurant group. Reporting to the Controller, this role will ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain general ledger integrity, support month-end close, and assist with operational accounting across multiple restaurant locations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume hospitality environment and has strong attention to detail.

Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and post journal entriesMaintain and reconcile general ledger accountsPerform monthly bank and credit card reconciliationsReconcile daily sales reports and POS systems across multiple restaurant locationsReview and analyze location-level P&Ls for accuracy and variancesAssist operations managers with financial reporting questionsReview/code invoices and ensure proper expense allocationPrepare and file city/state monthly sales tax returnsAssist with month-end and year-end closing processesPrepare supporting schedules and documentationEnsure deadlines are met for timely financial reportingAbout YouBachelor’s degree in Accounting2-4 years of accounting experience (restaurant, hospitality, or multi-unit xzbcwsv retail preferred)Experience with accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks Online, Restaurant365, NetSuite, Sage, etc.)Proficiency in Microsoft ExcelStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple locations and deadlines simultaneously Why Join UsBe part of a fast-growing hospitality group with exciting expansion plansOpportunity to be a part of accounting team being built from the ground upCollaborative culture that values hospitality at every levelCompetitive compensation, benefits and opportunities for development
