Cherry Bekaert's Finance & Accounting Outsourcing (FAO) practice is growing, and we are seeking an experienced Manager to join our Houston team. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the delivery of outsourced accounting services, managing client relationships, leading domestic and offshore team members, and ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of financial reporting and management information. The Manager serves as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance on accounting processes, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and operational efficiencies while fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment. As a Finance & Accounting Outsourcing (FAO) Manager, you will:

• Manage the delivery of outsourced accounting services and financial reporting for a portfolio of client engagements.
• Lead, coach, and develop accounting professionals, including offshore team members.
• Oversee client onboarding activities, including system setup, project planning, and process implementation.
• Review management reporting packages, financial statements, reconciliations, and other client deliverables.
• Partner with clients on budgeting, forecasting, KPI development, and management reporting.
• Monitor engagement performance, resource utilization, work-in-progress, and client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to identify process improvements and technology-driven efficiencies.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities while ensuring quality, timeliness, and exceptional client service.
• Support the implementation of new accounting technologies and special projects as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including management experience within a public accounting firm.
• Experience providing outsourced accounting, client accounting advisory, or controllership services to multiple clients.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct, and financial reporting tools.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Experience leading and developing accounting professionals, including remote and offshore team members.
• Strong project management, organizational, and client relationship management skills.
• Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver exceptional client service in a fast-paced environment.
