Electrical Engineer

Oxford Solutions is working with a client seeking an experienced senior level Electrical Engineer to support power distribution engineering projects. This role is ideal for an engineer with a strong technical background who can independently manage engineering responsibilities and oversee small to mid-sized projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and support electrical power distribution systems for utility, industrial, and related projects
• Lead engineering activities from planning and design through project execution
• Manage smaller to mid-sized projects, including schedules, deliverables, and technical coordination
• Perform electrical calculations, review drawings, and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards
• Coordinate with project teams, clients, and other engineering disciplines
• Support electrical system studies, including arc flash analysis, as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of electrical engineering experience
• Strong background in electrical power distribution systems
• Experience with utility, industrial, or similar electrical infrastructure projects
• Ability to independently lead technical work and manage projects
• Professional Engineer (PE) license highly preferred
• Arc flash analysis experience is a significant plus
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
