Office AssociateThe Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery is seeking to hire an Office Associate for the Chester Mental Health Center located in Chester, Illinois to perform a variety of complex specialized keyboarding and clerical functions for the Worker's Compensation Coordinator and other facility departments.Position Overview:Gathers documents pertaining to service-connected injuries for review by the Worker's Compensation Coordinator.Inputs all inventoried items from requisitions, items received as recorded on receiving reports and cost adjustments for received items.Utilizes a personal computer or typewriter to keyboard/type general correspondence, reports, etc.Serves as back-up to the various business office departments.Sorts all incoming facility mail.Essential Functions:Performs a variety of complex specialized keyboarding and clerical functions for the facility.Inputs all inventoried items from requisitions.Utilizes a personal computer or typewriter to keyboard/type general correspondence, reports, etc.Serves as back-up to the payroll/timekeeping office with various functions in areas of Personnel Services, including employee schedules.Sorts all incoming facility mail.Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.Minimum Qualifications:Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of high school.Requires two (2) years of office experience.Requires ability to keyboard accurately at 45 wpm.About the Agency:The Illinois Department of Human Services uplifts individuals and communities across Illinois.
