Transportation Operations Executive – Billing, Track & Trace & POD Management
Location: Chennai (Global Capability Center)
Function: Transportation Operations
Experience: 3 to 5 yrs
About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on Transportation Operations professional to run the day-to-day Billing, Track & Trace, and Proof of Delivery (POD) Management processes. This is an execution-focused role, working within established standards to keep freight billing, in-transit visibility, and delivery documentation accurate and on time — with strong exposure to the US transportation landscape.
What You'll Do
- Own end-to-end Billing operations — invoice processing, validation, discrepancy resolution, and timely closure
- Manage Track & Trace — monitor shipments in transit, proactively flag delays and exceptions, and coordinate with carriers and customers to resolve them
- Handle POD Management — collection, verification, and reconciliation of delivery documentation
- Apply US transportation standards, carrier requirements, and compliance norms in day-to-day processing
- Partner with carriers, customers, and internal stakeholders to resolve billing and delivery discrepancies
- Maintain accuracy and turnaround times across Billing, Track & Trace, and POD workflows, following established SOPs
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience in transportation operations, specifically in Billing, Track & Trace, and POD Management
- Working knowledge of the US transportation landscape — carriers, standards, and compliance requirements
- Strong attention to detail and process discipline
- Comfortable operating within established SOPs and frameworks
- Good communication skills to coordinate with carriers, customers, and internal teams
