BuyerLocation: Twinsburg, OHEmployment Type: Full-Time, Direct HireSchedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMWork Arrangement: Hybrid flexibility available after trainingPosition OverviewOur client is currently looking for a Buyer to join their purchasing team in the Twinsburg, OH area. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of sourcing activities, develop supplier relationships, and support purchasing initiatives within a growing manufacturing organization.The ideal candidate will have experience working with suppliers, evaluating pricing, negotiating agreements, and identifying opportunities to improve purchasing costs and performance.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate purchasing activities for new and existing manufacturing projects.Identify and evaluate suppliers based on pricing, capabilities, quality, and delivery performance.Prepare and distribute requests for quotation (RFQs), review proposals, and recommend sourcing decisions.Negotiate competitive pricing, purchasing terms, and supplier agreements.Develop relationships with suppliers to support reliable material availability and long-term purchasing objectives.Identify cost reduction opportunities through supplier negotiations and alternative sourcing strategies.Partner with engineering, operations, and other internal departments to address purchasing requirements.Monitor supplier performance and work through issues involving pricing, quality, and delivery.Support purchasing initiatives involving production materials and components.QualificationsExperience in purchasing, procurement, or strategic sourcing within a manufacturing environment.Familiarity with supplier RFQs, pricing analysis, and contract negotiations.Ability to evaluate supplier capabilities and make informed purchasing decisions.Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Comfortable managing multiple sourcing projects and communicating with internal teams and external suppliers.Automotive manufacturing experience is preferred.Experience purchasing steel, fasteners, or other production commodities is a plus.What This Opportunity OffersDirect hire opportunity with an established manufacturing organization.Hybrid schedule flexibility following initial training.Opportunity to manage sourcing projects and contribute to purchasing decisions.Exposure to new product initiatives, including the electric vehicle market. xzbcwsv Three weeks of PTO and a 401(k) match.
