Role Description The Account Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division, responsible for managing day-to-day accounting and client service activities. This includes maintaining accurate books of accounts, preparing basic financial reports, and assisting with tax and statutory compliance documentation. The role involves coordinating with clients to collect required information, resolving routine queries, and supporting senior team members during audits and reviews. The Account Executive will also help prepare working papers, organize financial records, and ensure adherence to firm policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel; ability to work with ledgers, vouchers, and reconciliations.
• Understanding of basic taxation and statutory compliance (GST, TDS, income tax) is highly beneficial.
• Effective communication and client service skills, with the ability to handle documentation and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to work systematically under deadlines.
• Relevant academic background such as a degree or diploma in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
• Willingness to learn, take feedback, and collaborate with senior chartered accountants and team members.
• Prior experience in an accounting or CA firm environment is an advantage.
