What you will be doing: The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive environmental, health, and safety programs that ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations while supporting a culture of safety throughout the organization. This position serves as the site's subject matter expert for environmental compliance, occupational safety, regulatory permitting, employee training, and risk reduction initiatives. This is an onsite role at the Teledyne facility in Hunt Valley, Maryland. Candidate must be a US citizen with either an active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one. Candidate must possess demonstrated hands-on experience managing environmental compliance programs, permits, and regulatory reporting within a manufacturing environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Lead EH&S initiatives at the TESI Hunt Valley, MD location, ensuring adherence to all applicable regulations. * Develop, implement, and update EHS policies and procedures, including chemical safety, ergonomics, injury prevention, and building safety. * Manage and maintain environmental, health, and safety programs in compliance with EPA, OSHA, MDE, and other applicable regulatory requirements. * Maintain all environmental and regulatory permits and ensure compliance with permit requirements. * Prepare, submit, and maintain required environmental reports, records, and regulatory filings. * Manage wastewater, stormwater, hazardous waste, air permitting, and other environmental compliance activities as applicable. * Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments, compliance audits, and incident investigations. * Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to mitigate workplace hazards and compliance risks. * Develop, deliver, and maintain EHS training programs for employees and management. * Lead emergency preparedness, response planning, and business continuity efforts related to EHS. * Partner with management to foster a proactive safety culture and drive continuous improvement initiatives. * Monitor regulatory changes and ensure organizational compliance with new or revised requirements. * Deliver and oversee EHS training programs, including new hire orientation and ongoing compliance topics.
