We're looking for a detail-oriented Software QA Engineer to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing, reporting, and collaboration with development teams.

About the role

The Software QA Engineer will design, execute, and maintain test cases, identify bugs, report issues, and collaborate with developers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software. This role requires a strong understanding of QA methodologies, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applications
• Identify, report, and track software defects using QA tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail)
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure timely resolution of issues
• Perform regression, integration, functional, and UI testing
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback to improve product quality
• Ensure compliance with software quality standards and best practices

Qualifications required

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 1-2 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC
• Experience with manual testing and basic knowledge of automated testing tools
• Proficiency in bug tracking tools like Jira, TestRail, or similar
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience with automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
• Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI)
• Basic understanding of SQL and database testing
• Basic familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes
