The OpportunityWe are hiring a Vice President for the firm's private equity investment team in New York. You will be a senior member of the team, leading investment processes, developing theses and working closely with leadership on new investments and portfolio company initiatives. The role carries a high degree of autonomy.
ResponsibilitiesLead new investments from initial screening through closingDevelop investment theses covering market dynamics, competitive positioning, management teams and value creationOwn financial underwriting, including operating models, LBO analysis and valuationPrepare and present investment committee materialsBuild relationships with management teams, banks and advisors, and contribute to sourcingSupport portfolio companies on strategic, financial and operational initiativesMentor Associates and Senior Associates
Qualifications6+ years of experience, including 2+ years in private equity, xzbcwsv with a strong investment banking foundationDemonstrated experience executing PE transactions and leading significant deal workstreamsExceptional modeling, valuation and underwriting skillsStrong investment judgment and the ability to develop and defend a clear thesisExcellent communication and relationship-building skills with senior management and advisorsEntrepreneurial mindset, comfortable with autonomy and accountabilityInterest in building a long-term career with a growing PE platform
