Role: Demand Planner (Original Equipment) Location: Charlotte, NC · Hybrid (in office Tue–Thu) About the role Our client is a fast-growing global manufacturer serving the agriculture, construction and industrial equipment markets. They’re hiring an OE Demand Planner to own the forecast for one to two of their largest original equipment (OEM) customers. This is a customer-facing planning role. You’ll meet regularly with customer supply chain teams, lead forecast reviews, and challenge demand that doesn’t add up. You’ll also translate supply constraints back to the customer. The work is about 80% demand planning and 20% supply planning. The team is lean, so your work is visible to leadership quickly. The last person in this seat was promoted. What you’ll do Own the demand forecast and forecast accuracy for key OEM accounts. Lead forecast reviews with customer supply chain teams, and question unexplained demand changes. Analyze large datasets in Excel to spot trends, demand spikes and risks. Coordinate across Sales, Supply Planning, Operations and the global manufacturing team.
