Role Description The Senior Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and monthly closing activities. The role will involve preparing financial statements, monitoring budgets, and supporting audit processes to ensure accurate reporting and regulatory compliance. The Senior Accountant will analyze financial data, identify variances, and provide insights to management for decision-making and cost control. Responsibilities also include ensuring adherence to internal controls, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining organized financial records and documentation. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in core accounting functions, including general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support management decisions.
• Knowledge of relevant accounting standards, taxation, compliance requirements, and audit processes.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software and ERP systems, along with solid MS Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, financial models).
• Ability to interpret and analyze financial data, maintain accurate records, and implement robust internal controls.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and present financial information clearly.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (CA, CMA, CPA or equivalent) is preferred.
