Opportunities for career progression and professional development Involvement in both traditional estimating and technology-driven preconstruction processes Responsibilities: Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and develop accurate project estimates Develop unit pricing for materials, labor, and construction components Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate subcontractor and supplier proposals Utilize BIM technology to support estimating and project planning Generate project renderings and virtual construction logistics plans Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers throughout preconstruction Maintain strong relationships with design consultants and trade partners Support the use of estimating and design software to improve project efficiency Mentor and support junior estimating team members Participate in industry events and professional associations Requirements: 2 to 10 years of construction estimating experience Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and estimating processes Proficiency with Sage Timberline, iSqFt, and On-Screen Takeoff Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Bentley, Navisworks, or SketchUp Pro Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word Strong subcontractor negotiation and relationship management skills Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Proactive, team-oriented approach with an interest in professional development
