Location: Silver Spring, MD (Hybrid - 2-3 days onsite)Compensation: $35-$40/hr with potential flexibility for the right candidateWe are seeking a Financial Analyst with 2-3 years of experience to support financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and operational decision-making. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with large data sets, building reports and dashboards, and translating financial information into actionable business insights.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and operating results.Perform variance analysis and identify trends, risks, and performance drivers.Develop and maintain financial models, cash flow projections, dashboards, and management reports.Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.Create and enhance Power BI dashboards and reporting tools.Partner with Accounting, Operations, and other stakeholders to improve reporting, data accuracy, and business processes.Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and present findings to management.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.2-3 years of financial analysis, accounting, FP&A, banking, or related experience.Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis.Experience with Power BI and data visualization tools required.Ability to work with large datasets and translate data into meaningful business insights.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Experience with ERP or financial systems such as Sage Intacct, Yardi, MRI, RealPage, or similar platforms is a plus. xzbcwsv Preferred Background Strong Excel and Power BI skills, along with the ability to understand and analyze financial statements, are the highest priorities.
