This rural hospital operates with 49 to 76 beds and serves as the sole hospital in its county, providing care to a 3,000-square-mile rural service area. The facility manages a patient volume exceeding 100,000 annually and delivers critical services to a broad regional population. Clinical operations are conducted on-site across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room settings.

California offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of experiences across diverse landscapes. Coastal destinations such as Monterey, Laguna Beach, and La Jolla provide scenic options, while inland areas including Joshua Tree and Lake Tahoe offer additional regional variety. Outdoor activities including kayaking, whale watching, hiking, and wildlife viewing are available throughout the state, alongside attractions such as the Monterey Bay Aquarium and scenic drives along Highway 1.

Clinicians will provide obstetric and gynecologic coverage across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room settings through 24-hour call shifts at an on-site facility in California, with coverage scheduled from June 30 (7a) through July 7 (7a). Clinical responsibilities include performing deliveries - both cesarean section and vaginal - as well as gynecological surgeries. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, and clinicians must maintain continuous availability for all assigned obstetric and gynecologic cases. Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is negotiable for this position.
