Builds personal and meaningful relationships with YMCA members, participants, volunteers, and guests. While exemplifying the Y’s commitment to the four-character values of caring, honesty, respect & responsibility and responds to all member and community inquiries promptly.
# Helps with implementing curriculum within the established guidelines.
# You must be dependable and build consistency and stability in the classroom for the children in your care. Full-time dependability is crucial to this role.
# Helps with supervising the children, classroom, and activities at all times.
# Makes ongoing, systematic observations and evaluations of each child.
# Maintains program site and equipment.
# Helps with keeping required program records.
# Attends and takes part in family nights, program activities, staff meetings, and staff training (18 hours per year)
# Meets educational and experience qualifications established by childcare licensing.
# CPR, First Aid, AED certifications, and Child Abuse prevention training within 30 days of hire date. xzbcwsv
# At least 1 year of experience working with children in a developmental setting preferred.
Compensation details: 12.57-18.85 Hourly Wage
