As a Maintenance Technician, you'll perform routine maintenance, preventative maintenance, and repairs across multiple residential locations to ensure our homes remain safe, functional, and compliant. You'll troubleshoot maintenance issues, respond to emergency repair requests, and help maintain high-quality living environments for the individuals we support.
What You'll DoPerform general maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, flooring, and basic HVAC troubleshooting.
Complete preventative maintenance to keep buildings, equipment, and systems operating efficiently.
Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, including after-hours and weekends as part of an on-call rotation.
Travel between Beacon locations using a company-provided vehicle.
Conduct facility inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
Maintain clean, safe, and organized work environments.
Coordinate with outside vendors for specialized repairs when necessary.
Accurately document repairs, inspections, and completed work orders.
Communicate effectively with leadership regarding repair priorities and project updates.
High school diploma or GED required (trade or technical certification preferred).
Minimum of 2 years of facilities or building maintenance experience .
Experience with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general building maintenance.
Basic HVAC troubleshooting experience preferred.
Ability to work independently while managing priorities across multiple locations.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Ability to pass a criminal background check.
Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Full-Time
Participation in an on-call rotation for emergency maintenance needs.
This position requires daily travel between Beacon residential locations using a company-provided vehicle .

Should have general ability to repair basic plumbing , electrical, HVAC, door , walls, window and have painting, trim, basic carpentry skills. Must be able to lift, bend, stoop to perform tasks.
Should have and follow basic safety protocol. Must be self motivated and be able to complete tasks w minimal direct oversight of manager. PC skills are required for basic reporting, email, etc.
Company truck, gas card, tools provided. Must have valid license.
