Job Description
Amity University is seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager for its upcoming Student Housing Project in Delhi NCR. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in Civil Engineering along with proven expertise in planning, execution, and management of large-scale residential/infrastructure projects.
The candidate will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end project execution, ensuring timely completion, quality compliance, budget adherence, and coordination among all stakeholders involved in the development of modern student accommodation facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the complete lifecycle of the Student Living Project from planning to handover.
Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders for smooth project execution.
Prepare and monitor project schedules, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Ensure compliance with all statutory approvals, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.
Supervise civil construction activities including structural, finishing, MEP coordination, and infrastructure development.
Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews to ensure timely delivery.
Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
Monitor contractor performance and certify bills as per project milestones.
Ensure adherence to university standards, sustainability practices, and operational requirements.
Prepare project status reports and present updates to senior management.
Coordinate procurement activities related to construction materials and services.
Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of project records.
Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
Master’s degree in Project Management/Construction Management will be preferred.
Minimum 8–15 years of relevant experience in residential, institutional, hospitality, or large infrastructure projects.
Prior experience in hostel/student housing/residential township projects will be an added advantage.
Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project planning tools, contracts, and vendor management.
Proficiency in Auto CAD, MS Project, Primavera, and MS Office.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
