Role Description The Internal Auditor – eCommerce is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. The person in this role will conduct regular Process and operational audits of eCommerce processes, systems, and transactions to ensure accuracy, compliance, and risk mitigation. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing financial records, analyzing data trends, assessing internal controls, and preparing audit reports with clear findings and recommendations. The Internal Auditor will collaborate with multiple departments to address identified gaps, support process improvements, and monitor the implementation of corrective actions. The role also involves staying current with relevant regulations, internal policies, and industry best practices to strengthen the overall governance and control environment within eCommerce operations.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have done the internal audit for minimum 4-6 years in e-commerce industry
• Candidates should possess strong skills in process and operational audits to review eCommerce process
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and evaluate risks within eCommerce operations.
• Candidates should possess experience in preparing and reviewing Audit Reports to document findings and recommend improvements.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to present audit outcomes, collaborate with teams, and support corrective actions.
• Relevant degree in finance, accounting, commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CIA, CISA, CA, CPA) are an advantage.
• Knowledge of risk management, internal control frameworks, and compliance standards (including ISO or similar systems) is beneficial.
• Ability to work with audit tools, spreadsheets, and data analysis software; attention to detail and integrity in handling financial information.
