Title: Associate, Asset Management

Compensation: $110,000 - $135,000 + Bonus + RSUs

Location: San Diego, CA (Hybrid - 4 Days Onsite)

Overview:

A growing REIT is seeking an Associate, Asset Management to support portfolio performance, strategic initiatives, and investment decision-making across a commercial real estate portfolio. This role offers exposure to asset strategy, financial analysis, portfolio reporting, leasing initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support leasing, asset management, and portfolio optimization initiatives
• Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, and performance reporting
• Analyze tenant financials and assist with underwriting activities
• Conduct market, property, and industry research to support business decisions
• Prepare portfolio reporting and presentation materials for senior leadership
• Partner with accounting, legal, operations, and other internal stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate, asset management, investments, finance, private equity, or a related field
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
• Understanding of real estate underwriting and financial statement analysis
• Advanced Excel proficiency

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting commercial real estate portfolios
• Exposure to investment analysis, leasing, capital planning, or portfolio management
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
