Applications Engineer

Supports quotations, proposals, customer requirements, and project coordination for medium-voltage electrical distribution equipment and engineered industrial products. Job Requirements 3-5 years of experience in inside sales, applications engineering, quotations, customer service, project coordination, or a related technical role.

Experience supporting industrial manufacturing, electrical equipment, utility, automation, or engineered product environments.

Experience reviewing RFQs and technical customer requirements.

Experience preparing proposals and quotations.

Experience managing customer orders from initial request through completion.

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, and technical specifications.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Skills Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

Experience with medium-voltage electrical distribution equipment.

Experience with pad-mounted switchgear.

Experience with transformers.

Experience with power distribution products.

Experience with utility equipment or related electrical components.

Experience in applications engineering or technical inside sales.

Experience developing quotations for engineered-to-order electrical products.

Job Responsibilities Review customer RFQs, drawings, one-line diagrams, and technical specifications.

Prepare quotations and proposals for medium-voltage electrical distribution equipment.

Support applications involving switchgear, transformers, and related utility products.

Evaluate customer requirements and identify appropriate product configurations.

Coordinate technical and commercial information required for proposal development.

Manage orders and projects from quotation through completion.

Track project requirements, schedules, documentation, and order status.

Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, operations, and other internal functions throughout the order process.

Support customers with product, quotation, order, and project-related questions.

Maintain proposal, quotation, and project documentation.

Support changes to technical requirements, configurations, and order scope during project execution.
